It took a lot of persuading, but I convinced some of my buddies to make the trip to Crissy Field today. It was awesome yesterday, and I was looking forward to a repeat today. I even bribed them w/ a cooler full of ice-cold beer. Of course the wind had died by the time I showed up. Damn... time to move on. It's a 30min drive to get to Candlestick from Crissy during rush hour... not the most relaxing drive, but it pretty much takes half an hour whether you swerve in and out of traffic or not, so the best approach is just to go and not worry about making good time... not an easy task for me. We eventually got to Da Stick around 3:30pm, and the wind was looking solid. I rigged my 4.7 and 84l FSW combo as usual, and I got a pretty nice sesh. I made my first shakas of the season... a monkey that I'm glad to have off my back. I made a nice one at the end of the sesh... a clear indication that it was time to call it a day and end on a good note. I am happy.
