Scary incident in Berkeley yesterday.

Killer Khan... that's what my friend used to call me in high school.  Now some of the Berkeley crew call me that, cuz I tend to arrive late and kill the wind, and yesterday was no exception

I got to Berkeley late around 5pm and rigged the 5.2 Loco and Twin Tip 100 as things were looking solid, however the wind was dying and going North at the dock as I was hitting the water.  Got some planing runs in, but I was was pretty underpowered and underwhelmed.  I saw other people struggling to get back to the dock in the localized offshore breeze, so I decided to head upwind and come in at HS Lordships Restaurant.

WTF:  that's what I was thinking as I pulled into the cove and saw a kite bar hanging from the tree in front of me.  Here are some accounts of what happened:
